Delivering Proven, Pharmacist-Led Value to Clients and Members

At EmpiRx Health our results aren’t just metrics, they’re proof of our unique PBM service model. It’s an approach that leads with frontline pharmacists, delivering first-class clinical care and value instead of driving more drug volume like the legacy PBMs. No other PBM provides these kinds of results:

  • 15% average year-1 PMPM (per member/per month) reduction
  • 88% physician engagement rate
  • 94.1% medication adherence rate
  • 99.4% client retention rate

Our pharmacy care approach prioritizes better health outcomes and smarter spending while putting patients and clients first.

On Thursday August 28th, we hosted a new webinar “Why PBM Reform Matters Now More Than Ever.” During the webinar we broke down what PBM reform means for plan sponsors and their members, and benefits consultants and advisors, while exploring a transformative pharmacy care model that puts pharmacists at the center of care. Thank you to our special guest, Daniel Sjostedt, Senior Advisor to Transparency-Rx and moderator, Patrick U. Di Chiro, Chief Marketing Officer at EmpiRx Health. Did you miss the webinar? We’re thrilled that our CEO, Danny Sanchez, was interviewed by Inspire11, a strategic partner that works with EmpiRx Health. In the video, Danny discusses the current state of the PBM industry and where it’s headed, especially how the pharmacist-led care model is transforming the sector to the benefit of patients and employers. Transition of Care

Changes to your pharmacy benefits don’t have to be stressful or disruptive. With EmpiRx Health’s Transition of Care program, members can keep using their prescribed medications during the switch, with no gaps in care. By working closely with your doctor, we make the process easy for you and your benefits plan administrator. Learn more in our blog below:

Clinical Success Story

Patient: 57-year-old female

Diagnosis: Plaque psoriasis
Population Health Management Engine Identified: A high-cost specialty medication

  • Our Care Team identified that the patient’s medical diagnosis was also significant for diverticulosis. Recent evidence-based literature indicates Cosentyx may worsen or cause the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Our in-house pharmacist recommended a more clinically appropriate, less costly treatment option of Otezla, an oral medication.
  • The patient’s diagnosis was controlled with the recommended treatment and serious side effects were avoided.

Annual Clinical Savings for the Plan Sponsor: $21,068
