Infusion Therapy Management Blog
Infusion therapies are a major driver of rising healthcare costs and often lack pricing transparency. Our recently launched Infusion Therapy Management solution increases both pricing visibility and cost savings by moving infusion therapy coverage to the pharmacy benefit. This helps plan sponsors achieve 10%+ in savings, while enhancing care through our Medication Optimization (MO) operating model. A simpler and smarter way to manage infusion therapy. Transparency is Rising 2026

We were thrilled to be in New Orleans, LA in May for Transparency Rising 2026 alongside industry leaders, employers, policymakers, and innovators focused on advancing transparency in pharmacy benefits.

Thank you to Transparency-Rx for hosting an impactful event, and to all the attendees for some truly meaningful conversations. We’re especially grateful for the opportunity for EmpiRx Health President John Ridyard and Clinical Account Executive Shaunak Vyas, PharmD, MBA, RPh to join Duane Jones of Harps Food Stores, Inc. and UAMS College of Pharmacy and Shelley Bailey of IPC and the Oregon Prescription Drug Affordability Board to discuss the vital role pharmacists play in improving affordability and patient care.

The momentum toward a more value-driven pharmacy benefit model continues to grow, and we’re honored to be part of the conversation shaping the future of healthcare.

Clinical Success Story

Patient: 63-year-old male
Diagnosis: Prostate Cancer
Population Health Management Engine Identified: High-cost specialty medication with optimization opportunity.

•  The patient was prescribed Xtandi 80mg tablets for the treatment of Prostate Cancer. Upon review, our Care Team identified a lower cost clinically appropriate treatment alternative.

•  Our in‑house pharmacist reached out to the prescriber about the alternative treatment who agreed with the recommendation which would also have fewer cardiac-related side effects. Based on the member’s history, this was a safer option.

•  The member was counseled on the alternative treatment and prescribed Abiraterone 500mg tablets. This intervention resulted in improved clinical outcomes and measurable cost savings.
