Join us at the SIIA22 Engage National Conference!

EmpiRx Health CEO Karthik Ganesh joins other industry leaders for a townhall discussion designed to help the self-insurance marketplace control pharmacy benefits’ spend.

EmpiRx Health is a proud sponsor The Self Insurance Institute of America’s SIIA22 Engage National Conference, taking place October 9th-11th in Phoenix, AZ. The conference, billed as the world’s largest self-insurance industry event, features an educational program lead by industry experts that will address the timeliest topics and hot-button issues, along with ample networking opportunities

Among those timely topics is the importance of controlling pharmacy spend, which accounts for 30% of an employer’s healthcare spend and rising. EmpiRx Health CEO Karthik Ganesh will contribute his perspectives on the subject as part of “So Let’s Finally Figure Out the PBM Space – a Town Hall Discussion,” scheduled for Tuesday, October 11th at 10:15AM MST. Joining Ganesh on the stage will be representatives from across the PBM industry, including leaders from AscellaHealth, LLC, Appro-Rx, True Rx, RxPreferred Benefits, and TrueScripts Management Services. Ganesh and his fellow participants will be in the hot seat, responding to candid questions from SIIA members with an interest in controlling healthcare spending.

Says Ganesh, “I look forward to engaging in hard-hitting discussions with business leaders about how value-based care can fix pharmacy benefits the right way, and why PBMs must make a fundamental shift to tailored population health management with whole-person care at its core. Underscoring this is the need to create service models that support people with health complexities, the small subset of the population consuming 49% of all healthcare spending. Now more than ever is it critical to get pharmacy benefits done right. Change cannot wait.”
