Montvale, NJ – July 17, 2017 – EmpiRx Health is excited to announce its new partnership with Rutgers University School of Pharmacy, offering pharmacy internships in support of Interprofessional Education (IPE). The main objective of the program is to introduce the basics of Pharmacy Benefit Management to its interns. Throughout their rotation, Pharmacy students will participate in various clinical projects such as Medication Adherence, Drug Utilization and Medication Therapy Management Reviews. Under Pharmacist supervision and guidance, students will work within EmpiRx Health’s Clinical Services Department on claims data analytics and engage with other areas of the company including Account Management, Finance and Analytics to assist in the proactive oversight management of our clients.

“This program will give the Pharmacy students great exposure and a basic understanding of non-traditional pharmacy career paths in a managed care setting.
